It started with one stubborn recipe.
Our founder, Mike Morissette, grew up in the suburbs of Boston — but traded brick-lined streets for the wide-open spaces of San Antonio, Texas. He never forgot the tastes of home. He just decided they needed a little more heat.
Wanting more flavor than what store-bought sauces could ever provide, Mike set out to develop a recipe that would complement his love of Texas barbecue. Through a whole lot of trial, error, and empty pepper bags, he created our signature Hot Sauce.
With the support of his wife Sandra and some great friends, Booty-Fire, LLC was born.
